Ultram (tramadol) can be recommended by your doctor if you are suffering from moderate to severe pain and need to get it under control. You may need to take Ultram for some time to get the pain under control, but make sure you take the exact dose prescribed as otherwise you may get withdrawal symptoms later when you deiced it's time to stop the treatment. The following withdrawal symptoms are possible: panic, difficulty falling asleep, cough, burning or tingling in your hands or feet, nausea, nervousness, numbness, sneezing, sweating, hallucinations, chills, and diarrhea. Make sure to tell your health care provider if you are using ay medications that have been reported to interact with Ultram – such as tranquilizers, sleeping pills, muscle relaxants, quinidine, pain medications, monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors, medications for anxiety, tricyclic antidepressants, sedatives, medications for seizures, rifampin, nausea medicines, mental illness meds, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, antifungal medications, or any other products that are not on the list but may potentially affect the success of your treatment.
